4 Months!

Ok, I've decided that since I've been so busy I need to stop doing bi-weekly blog posts. From now on I'm doing just monthly. I can't promise that I'll do them on time though either because as you can see this 4 month post is late. I started it just around 4 months so the date will be right, but I'm finishing this up on March 16th. Oops. Blogger fail! If for some reason I find more time to blog I definitely will though!!!


Dear Ava,


On February 28/March 1 you turned 4 months old! You were born on the 29th and since there wasn't 29 days in February we celebrated for 2 days! :) Its amazing how much you change each month. I still can't believe that you once fit into itty bitty newborn clothing and used to sleep like 20 hours a day. You are so lively now!


As mentioned in my previous post, Nana flew up from Texas to visit you in February. Here were a few pictures taken right after I made that last post. She was in town for a week and it was FABULOUS having her help. She loved spending every second with you and you absolutely adored her too. :)

While Nana was around you rolled from tummy to back one more time. Two times down!! :) You also like to grab at things, sit up (supported), and stand while being burped. You think its the neatest thing to be standing and Nana liked to have you dance on her lap. It was the cutest thing and you smiled a lot.


Also while Nana visiting we packed up all of our stuff and on February 25th we moved back to Iowa from Arkansas!!! Your daddy and I were so thrilled that moving day had finally arrived. Of course, daddy had to stay in Arkansas another month so that he could get to some appointments and finish up another week or two of work. He'll be back in Iowa for good on March 26th! We miss him very much already.


Since you had your 3 month check up almost two weeks late we had to schedule your 4 month just the same...except with the change in Tricare region daddy had to get some stuff transferred for us and we FINALLY got your appointment set up! We'll find out how much you weigh on March 22nd...obviously 3 weeks later than 4 months old! Sorry! Last weight done at the doctor's office was 15 pounds though and I think you've gained at least 2 pounds. I tried weighing you at home, but its just not as accurate. Shortly after you turned 4 months we measured your length and you were 24 inches long! You're a growing baby! My little nugget is 2 feet tall!! 


Mommy can't wait to see what changes you make over the next month now. Every day something exciting happens and it just melts my heart. I love you so so much little one!! Keep on making me proud!
