How Far Along: 29 weeks!
How Big is Baby? Ava is just over 15 inches long and weighs around 2 1/2 pounds!

Weight Gain/Loss: +0.6 pounds this week - No inches gained in my abdomen or hips from last week
Symptoms:
- Back Pain
- Braxton Hicks
- Itchy skin!
- Preggo Brain
- Round Ligament Pains
Cravings/Aversions: Craving watermelon again.
Movement: All the time. Ava is constantly moving. I do those kick counts, but I've realized I don't really need to because I feel her moving so often as it is. I'm sure if she has a quiet day I'd do them like 4 times a day though! lol. Just to be sure.
Gender: Girl
Belly Button: IN IN IN. Stretched though. The deep part is getting closer to the surface, but I'm not so sure it will come out anytime soon (if at all).
Sleep: I get ENOUGH sleep, its just getting to sleep that's the problem. Then of course the pee breaks every few hours can get annoying, but that's partly my fault. I'm always thirsty at night.
What I'm Looking Forward To: My next obgyn appointment! Its in 1 week! I love that I get to go every 2 weeks now! I feel like its making time go faster. :)
What I Miss: My wine, being able to go out in the sun all day long, huge water slides, huge rollercoasters, and oh ya, did I mention my wine!? Ugh.
How is Baby Laying: I did a belly mapping thing on spinningbabies.com and I THINK she's laying with her head down, facing my right side, back to my left, butt up, limbs on the right. Her heart was detected on the right side at my last appointment and not much has changed in terms of her position based on what I have felt around for. I'm hoping the doctor will tell me how she's laying at the next appointment. I forgot to ask last week.
Highlights This Past Week:
- My baby book came in and we got started on filling out some of the early stuff (aka stuff about us and the family)
- I got the "emergency contact list" created and hung up on the fridge
- Bought the cloth diapers we hope will work for Ava once we get the hang of things

I have the same problem as you - thirsty at night all the time. I can't make myself drink water during the day but then after 7 pm, I am chugging it like a crazy person. And of course, peeing a billion times a night. I wonder what the deal is with that?
ReplyDeleteAlso - I always want to respond to your comments but I get the no-reply option when I try to. You should set it up so that your email is attached to your comments so I can respond! I want to be able to respond to you - and I want to chat about cloth diapering with you :)
ReplyDeleteHow do I change the reply option on here? I guess since I started blogging when I got pregnant I never really learned how to do everything. I only know what my sister taught me. Guess I'm still a newbie! lol.
