How Far Along: 32 WEEKS!!
How Big is Baby: According to babycenter.com, Ava should be about 16.7 inches long and 3.75 pounds!
Symptoms: Exact same things as last week. The most frequent thing is Braxton Hicks though.
Cravings/Aversions: I keep craving sweets and fruit again, but it seems we have a lot of sweets and not as much fruit. I'll be honest and say that probably has to do with the weight gain this past week too...bummer.
Movement: YEP YEP YEP! She just bounces around in there. I can feel her little feet pedaling on the right side of my belly very frequently. Its cute. :)
Gender: GIRL!
Belly Button: Absolutely, positively....IN still! Its getting closer to the surface though. One day, it too shall see the light!
Sleep: Horrible lately. My mid/upper back pain has gotten out of control this week. Its most likely a herniated disc so while I'm supposed to be doing this whole bed rest and icing frequently thing...its not working so well. I've got things to do! Can't get it officially checked out with an MRI til after I give birth though so I've got another 2 months AT LEAST before I can take some better pain medicine and get it taken care of. As for getting up to pee, well same as usual...every 3(ish) hours.
What I'm Looking Forward To: My weekly appointments! I think they start at 36 weeks so I've got my 34, then 36, then weekly! I can't believe how quickly this third trimester is going so far!
What I Miss: Being able to drive in a car alone for a long period of time (if I'm a passenger I can at least situate myself in a way that doesn't put pressure on certain parts of my back). Also being able to lay out in the sun for a long period of time.
How is Baby Laying: Same as before! Head down. Butt up. Back to my left. Limbs to my right.
Highlights of This Past Week: Went in for my 32 week appointment today! Little Ava's heartbeat is strong at 146bpm! Yippee!! She's super active and was wide awake at the appointment today. ALSO: BIG NEWS! I got a text from my MIL and the crib has arrived in the store!!! It won't be set up for a couple weeks probably, but I'm just glad its here.

ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! Enjoy these last few weeks. It is going to fly by! Hope you get your back taken care of. Pregnancy is uncomfortable enough without that added stress.
