Mrs. Rupiper: 12 Weeks

Dear Ava,

Can you believe it? You're already 12 weeks old. That's basically a trimester of pregnancy right there. Its so crazy to see how much you've changed. Here you are!

12 WEEKS!

You giggled for the first time while I was giving you a bath right around 10 weeks. You did it once again during bath time and one time while playing on your little play gym. I'm excited for the moments you continuously giggle. Its so cute!

10 1/2 Weeks (TUMMY TIME!) - here you're trying to see the TV...figures!

BUT then you lost interest and smiled at mommy!

AND made other funny faces.

Then you looked back at the TV for a few seconds. Even though we don't let you "watch" TV, its good motivation to get you to keep your head up for a little while during tummy time. Otherwise you just lay there and suck on your hands and get frustrated.

Then you got tired of tummy time and wanted to lay down on your back again and play.

Your FAVORITE part of the mirror is the little lady bug with the spinning black and white center. You just hold it all the time and stare.

By the way, you smile allllll the time now. You look like you are just the happiest baby in the world when we play with you. There are a couple little games with play with you that involve making sounds and having you smile and respond as well as dropping a shirt on your belly and watching you gasp and then smile and squeal. At your 2 month appointment (which was actually done when you were 10 weeks and 5 days old because we were out of town when you turned 2 months old) you weighed 14 pounds 3 ounces!!! BIG GIRL! You are very healthy. You love your food!!

11 Weeks!

Turned you away from the TV, put a mirror on the couch for you to stare at (while I washed bottles) and when I looked back at you this is what I saw! You had turned your head almost completely around to see the TV. I swear I NEVER put her in front of the TV to watch. She is just so intrigued.
